The Retro Retreat in King’s Lynn has been involved with Spalding Comicon in 2024. In 2025, Director Jason Lee and his team took full charge—funding and managing every aspect of the event, from car park marshalling to front desk reception.
The Comicon and Card Show continues to thrive thanks to the incredible support of Jason’s friends, family, and a dedicated team of volunteers—all committed to making sure every visitor enjoys a truly fantastic day out.

Are you available on 29th May 2027 at the Springfields Events Centre?
All volunteers are also asked to attend a 2–4 hour online training session during the week leading up to the event.
To take part, you must be at least 18 years old on the event date.

All sponsorship funding is reinvested into the event to cover guests, venue costs, and the fantastic activities we offer throughout the day.
